The Last Frontier

Enter the last frontier backpacking through Resurrection Pass, horseback riding deep into the Kenai, mountain biking the Eklutna lake side trail and white water rafting the Lions Head. The leaders of the Alaskan Challenge club are rugged adventurers who have cut the trail before you and are ready to take you on their next adventure. Camp Kenai Adventure

Sarah Gagnier, a consecrated woman from Washington State and now working in Atlanta, shares 9 lessons learnt while roughing it in the Alaskan wilderness in the summer of 2012.

Fourteen teenage girls and six adults launched the first Camp Kenai Outdoor Adventure Camp in the Kenai Peninsula (Alaska) this July 2012. The camp consisted of a five-day, forty-mile backpacking trip on Resurrection Trail, days of horseback riding, white water rafting, bike riding, 4-wheeling, gold-panning, glacier visiting, waterfall climbing, moose and bear-sighting, camping, daily Mass, a Eucharistic Procession and much more!
